There isn’t exactly a lack of websites catering towards wakeboard boat owners, but apparently there’s always room for one more. WakeBoatOwners.com is somewhat unique in that it welcomes all of the major manufacturers (like WakesideRides.com), and it also makes use of a lot of recent advancements seen on popular social networking sites.

If you haven’t found a home on one of the many other owner community sites, or want the chance to stir up the pot with your buddies that own other brands, head over to WakeBoatOwners.com and get setup with an account.

Scratch Films new flick “Godspeed” is set to release soon. To set off the occasion, there will be multiple premieres over the next few months. “Godspeed” is the follow up to “Evergreen,” “The Good Times,” and “The Good Times 2.” The video is getting plenty of coverage and should feature the same great riding and fun times in wake as prior releases.

If you are live in the Seattle Metro area, you should go check out the first premiere of Godspeed tonight in Kirkland.

Correct Craft pulled the wraps off their new website recently, and the response from the wakeboard industry has been positive

Red Rocket Studios was responsible for the overhaul, which relies almost entirely on Flash (unfortunately). But the flash isn’t too obtrusive, and page loading time is fairly quick. In addition to the new layout is a powerful new boat building tool, which allows users to configure the Nautique of your dreams with all of the new decals, options and extras for 2008.

If you’re shopping for a new boat (or even if you’re not), take a spin through the new Nautiques website and let us know what you think in the comments.

Malibu has added another channel to their rich media marketing with the industry’s first podcast from a boat manufacturer. So far there are only a couple of episodes available, but according to Amy Mauzy, marketing director at Malibu, they plan on regularly updating the podcast with a variety of content.

The first two episodes include some one-on-one time between actual Malibu boat owners and Amy Mauzy. There’s nothing to earth-shattering, but it is interesting to hear what led other owners to choose Malibu, and what they do with their boats for entertainment.

Hopefully future podcasts will detail more product specific information from inside the minds of Malibu engineers. Have a topic you would like to see covered on the podcast? Suggest it in the comments and we’ll pass it along to Malibu.

Ronn Seidenglanz, of Sidewayz Video Distribution, is bringing us yet another ground breaking title that will impact wakeboarding as a sport. This film exclusively features the Gator Boards Team Riders and is shot in various exotic locations throughout the globe.

This past weekend SlingShot Wakeboards launched their new website. There has been much anticipation for the technology that SlingShot is bringing to the forefront. The site has video clips of Team Riders demonstrating the board’s capabilities while clearly showing the difference in flex patterns compared to anything else on the market right now. Jeff McKee also walks the viewers through the ‘07 product line.

Sean Kilgus, of BFY Productions, is in the process of filming “DRIVE”. The latest filming trip took the BFY Productions crew to Arizona with JD Webb, Danny Harf, Randall Harris, & Rusty Malinoski.
