Inland Surfer Redesigns Blue Lake Board

Posted on June 5th, 2007 by Jason | posted in Gear, General, Industry Press Releases

Inland Surfer Wakesurfing BoardsAs one of the few companies committed to the wakesurfing movement, Inland Surfer is known for not only promoting the sport they love, but also for making some of the best wakesurf boards.

As a testament to their desire to produce the best possible product, they have redesigned one of their most popular boards, the Blue Lake, to make it even more desirable. This second generation board is slightly smaller, making it more maneuverable for accomplished riders, without sacrificing any stability or carving potential for those just learning to drop the rope. As a single board that everyone on the boat can ride, the new Blue Lake may just be the best choice on the market.

Malibu Wakesetter VTX Wins Boat of Year Award

Posted on May 15th, 2007 by Jason | posted in Boats, General, Industry Press Releases

Malibu Wins Boat of the Year AwardOkay, this is getting a little bit ridiculous! I mean honestly, how many Boat of the Year Awards is Malibu going to win? Not that we’re complaining mind you, they build an incredible product. We’d just like to see some of the other great products from manufacturers in the industry win an award every now and then. Of course if they keep introducing such unique products, maybe these awards are an appropriate recognition for their work.

For 2007, the Boat of the Year title goes to Malibu’s new innovative 20′ VTX model. Combining great performance, storage, and room for a crew of 10 with fantastic wakeboarding wakes, this is definitely an innovative boat. And thanks to a new Cut Wake hull that offers some insight into how future Malibu models will perform, this boat has the show and the go for the best riders in the world.
