BOARD UP™ is an action sports and entertainment event created by Miami Sports International (MSI) since 2006. BOARD UP™ was designed for television and to provide a festival atmosphere for spectators of all ages. BOARD UP™ got its start in Miami , known as the gateway to Latin America, and home to a multi-cultural community that features Hispanic Americans, the nation’s largest minority group; Miami is also a sports, fashion and entertainment breeding ground, and it is the ideal destination to host BOARD UP™. BOARD UP™ will be visiting a city near you soon.
MSI has prepared an innovative event for the action sport industry, and will add a concert act as a sideshow to the wakeboard Pro-Am. The event will be fully sanctioned by the USA Wakeboard Association, the sport’s governing body. An amateur tournament is offered in order to provide an unparalleled opportunity for the sport to continue to grow. In 2007, Miami played host to the Pan American Wakeboard Championships preceding the BOARD UP™ Pro Am.
