Does anyone need 1200 horsepower in a wakeboard boat? Of course not, but that didn’t stop one Mastercraft dealer from teaming up with an off-shore racing shop to drop twin supercharged engines into a Maristar 28. Now-a-days just about every boat show has it’s share of flashy displays and crazy deals, so it takes a 28 footer with 600HP/engine to stand out from the crowd.

Sure, the top speed only goes up to 65MPH, but with 3 to 4 times the horsepower found in a typical inboard, the acceleration must be nothing short of brutal. So much for lower emissions and improved fuel economy!
