As one of the few companies committed to the wakesurfing movement, Inland Surfer is known for not only promoting the sport they love, but also for making some of the best wakesurf boards.
As a testament to their desire to produce the best possible product, they have redesigned one of their most popular boards, the Blue Lake, to make it even more desirable. This second generation board is slightly smaller, making it more maneuverable for accomplished riders, without sacrificing any stability or carving potential for those just learning to drop the rope. As a single board that everyone on the boat can ride, the new Blue Lake may just be the best choice on the market.
Lake Sammamish, WA – When is good enough, good enough? At Inland Surfer, the answer is never. In our constant quest to provide the finest wakesurf boards available, Inland Surfer has redesigned our flagship board, the Blue Lake. This is the fourth progression of the Blue Lake board, which is the first board produced by Inland Surfer.
The Blue Lake will continue to be an all-epoxy board which features Inland Surfer’s unique Vortex Channel, Progressive Edge, Woodloc process and fast concave bottom. For 2007.5, the board has been shortened by 2 inches to 5′4″. The board also has a new padded deck and the addition of a rear foot kick lip. Also added are our new Inland Surfer carbon fiber SpeedLine fins.
“The team here at Inland Surfer is never quite satisfied. We know that we can always do better and produce a better product. After really listening to what riders were looking for in a traditional surf-shaped board, we took 2″ off the nose and redesigned the nose profile, which allows the board to makes sharper bottom turns and approach the wave quicker. We also softened the front rails, which helps with spins and approaches to airs. And, because most people want the board to be as fast as possible, we made sure we kept the back rails sharp, which makes the Blue Lake one of the fastest gliders out there,” stated Jeff Page, Inland Surfer’s Chief Board Shaper.
