Rumors have been swirling about a new cross-over wake boat from Mastercraft for the last few months. Now we finally get a chance to see it in the flesh. This new model is 21′ 4″ long, and rides on a new multisport friendly hull design that is optimized for both wakeboarding and waterskiing. In addition to the new hull, the X14/214 models also features a unique wrap-around seating configuration that gives the seating capacity of a v-drive in a direct drive configuration.
More pics and detailed information coming after the break.

The all-new X-14 has the classic MasterCraft profile and sensuous lines, but look close. See that curve? Feel that contour? Even on the trailer it embodies the joys of skiing and wakeboarding. It tempts you to get it wet. Dares you to push the throttle.
In the water, at slalom speeds, you’ll fully appreciate the new hull design, a formidable 21 feet, 4 inches (6.48 meters) in length and roomy 96 inches (2.44 meters) in width. Just imagine laying down a velvet trail, those hard-edged turns at dusk, the early morning sessions, lazing around in the afternoon…
Engaging the X-14′s dual KGB ballast system puts extra pounds beneath the boat to beef up wakes and produce the magic ramps X-Series boats are known for-thick at the bottom, rounded on top and shaped to send riders flying to the flats. All new wraparound rear seating adds extra leg room to this large tournament-approved towboat.
So, go ahead. Set the standard MasterCraft Cruise Control to the desired riding speed and your only worry will be finding an endless run of flat water.
Imagine that.
