Few manufacturers in our industry can match the track record for high quality, unique and functional products that Titan Wakeboard Accessories has laid down. Now they’re at it again with their Generation II Spinner wakeboard rack, available exclusively for Malibu’s Illusion X wakeboard tower. Compared to previous pivoting rack options available for this unique wakeboard tower, Titan’s new Spinner model features a wealth of design, engineering and quality.
You can imagine how excited we were when one of Titan’s signature white boxes arrived on our door step unannounced carefully packed with a pair of Spinner wakeboard racks to review. Follow along after the break as we unbox this new rack and check it out in the flesh.
Like all of Titan’s products, the new Spinner Wakeboard Racks arrive individually wrapped and professional packaged. Such attention to detail in the packaging materials can only suggest that the quality of the product itself will exceed all expectations.

The Generation II Spinner wakeboard racks come mostly pre-assembled for easy installation with a minimal amount of work. After unwrapping each spinner unit the forks simply bolt on using the included hardware and the wakeboard rack is ready for installation.
All of the components of the Spinner wakeboard kit, including the new DLX design wakeboard forks and backing plates, are individually packaged for protection during shipping.

Once assembled and bolted onto the tower, the quality of the DLX racks is impressive. From the offset design, to the billet construction with contrasting finishes and subtle laser etched Malibu logos, the entire package exudes quality.

Compare this rack to the other swivel rack that many have used and the difference in quality is obvious after just a quick glance. Upon closer inspection such detail features as the layered and stepped detail on the backing plate, the unique shape of the forks that matches the profile of a wakeboard and countless others become apparent.
The rack rotates in a smooth and controlled manor, guided by an internal mechanism with push button release the locks the rack in both the stored and rotated access position. Tolerances on all parts that comprise this work of engineering art are razor thin, which results in a stable rack with no additional play, even while riding through deep chop at fast speeds and with a load of boards in the rack.
It’s great to see another high quality, functional and well executed product from Titan. Unfortunately, right now it’s only available for Malibu’s Illusion X wakeboard tower (technically it will also fit on Centurion’s Evolution tower). If your new Malibu has the Illusion tower and you want the best quality, most accessible wakeboard rack on the market, this is a fine choice.

Hey Jeff, you can get these racks from your local Malibu dealer. Just give them a call and they’ll get you setup.
Thanks for the comment!
