It’s a new year, but still one can’t help but look back on the end of 2006 with amazement. Four 1080’s in less than three months, is this a sign of things to come? Who knows, but one thing is for sure, the three riders that managed to pull off three spins last year deserve major props. In honor of 2006, we’re looking back on the rider that broke the 1080 curse in 2006, Danny Harf:
Even more impressive is the shear control Danny exhibits during the rotation. Maybe it’s pure luck, but looking back, it’s no wonder everyone said he would be the first to follow up Parks (and arguably Mark Kenny) with this illusive move. Here’s to 2007, and more riders pushing the limit.
