The Godfathers of wake photography, Josh Letchworth & Joey Meddock, have joined forces to create The Standerd. For those of you that are sick of seeing ad after ad in our industry publications, lackluster photos, and weak articles…. The Standerd looks to be our savior.

The new AllianceWake.com is available now, a little behind schedule, but at least it looks like it was worth the wait. The new website has many similarities to the old version, but with a slightly more polished look, and fonts that are easier on the eyes. This new Web 2.0 themed version of the site has much of the same content as the old version, but the presentation is more efficient, and it is easier to find the content you’re looking for on the home page.

As we reported 2 days ago, it appears as though Alliance is definitely releasing a new look for their site. It looks like they’ve missed their target launch by at least a day, but the new design will be up soon for everyone to check out.

The word on the street is that Alliance Wakeboarding Magazine will launch a brand new website tomorrow, just in time for Valentine’s Day. AllianceWake.com has always had the most original and true to the sport content, hopefully this new design will make their site easier to navigation. We’d especially love to see some upgrades to the media accessibility side of things, but we’re not picky.

For such a young sport, we’ve long been amazed at the poor quality of websites that many vendors choose to rock. You’d think more energy would be put into this marketing resource for all those connected wakeboarders that embrace technology.
