Team Hyperlite Descends on Lake Shasta

Posted on September 26th, 2007 by Jason | posted in Gear, Media, Riders

Hyperlite WakeboardsThe Hyperlite wakeboard team gathered in Northern California recently to relax, recharge, and to take advantage of the incredible late season conditions Lake Shasta is known for. Fortunately for us they also brought along a video camera to capture some of the best free-riding we’ve seen. As an added bonus, there are some good shots of the 2008 gear, as the official purpose of the trip was to shoot video and images for the 2008 Hyperlite catalog.

As the season here in the Northwest starts to wrap-up, this video makes us wish we had a Shasta trip planned sometime in the near future to extend the season just a little bit longer. Hyperlite has put together a great team, and if they have plans to release more videos from team trips in the future we’re all for that.

Check out the video after the jump.

Found: Jimmy LaRiche Video

Things are definitely bright for Jimmy LaRiche. First there was the news of his induction to Hyperlite’s illustrious new team. Then we learned that Correct Craft wanted him on their team as well. Yes sir, things are looking up for the young ripper, and here’s a video courtesy of Hyperlite that shows why he’s such a sought after commodity right now.

LaRiche Inks a Deal With Nautique

At sixteen, Jimmy LaRiche certainly has a lot of life to look forward to, but to say he’s inexperienced at his young age wouldn’t exactly be fair. LaRiche has already amassed a mound of titles in the Junior divisions of various competitions, and is a member of the newly reorganized Hyperlite Team.

Hoping to capitalize on the future success of this young rider, Correct Craft has announced a new deal that signs him to their pro team along with the other standout riders they sponsor. Read the official press release after the jump.
