Combine the style of Shane Bonifay's (alright, maybe Watson) with the functionality of Nike's running shoes and you would have the ultimate wakeboard boot. Well Liquid Force has done just that with their new Limited Edition wakeboard boots for 2009. Based on running shoe technology, the new boots feature an integrated air cushion for shock absorption. Liquid Force couldn't just use the same design as a modern running show though, as the loss of board response would be too great. So they went through a series of designs to find the perfect combination of cushioning without sacrificing any feel. The technology will debut in the 2009 Liquid Force Limited Edition wakeboard boots, before making its way into more Liquid Force boots next year.
