We all know how important it is to have custom wheels on your truck now-a-days. I mean seriously, you're nobody if you're still rocking stock wheels. Of course I'm sure Shawn Watson would rather have stock wheels than no wheels at all.

This pictures of Shawn's newly customized truck originally appeared in Book 1.2 of The Standerd, Meddock and Letchworth recently posted it on their site along with some commentary from Shawn himself:

And this is the second time it’s happened. I’m now on my third set of wheels, haha…

The first time it happened my truck was actually stolen and recovered down the street on blocks like you see here. The “before” photo was taken a while ago just after I got my second set of wheels, and after the first incident I always keep my truck in the garage overnight. Well as you can see in the “after” pic, my boat is still attached to my truck. I flew in late one night, picked up my boat from the Nautique factory and drove home. I didn’t get home until about 1am and was planning on getting up at 7 am to drop my boat in and do a photo shoot that next morning.

So I wake up and walk out my front door to this. All I could really do was laugh because what are the odds of that happening to me again. So now I have really learned my lesson and no matter what circumstance it is my truck is in the garage at all times, haha!

At least he's able to laugh about, because honestly, what else can you do when the damage has already been done?

Originally conceived to be a tool for Liquid Force dealers to use for educating their employees, the Clinic Videos quickly gained popularity last year when they found their way into the hands of all wakeboard enthusiasts. For 2007 Liquid is following up on the success of the Clinic Series with a more complete and in depth review of almost all of their products.

Jimmy Redmond, the mastermind behind most of Liquid Force's designs, offers some interesting insight into the many new wakeboard and surfboard shapes, while Scott, lead wakeboard binding designer explains the boot lineup for 2007. Jimmy also manages to do a reasonable job of keeping the less than articulate professional wakeboarders that are on camera with him on topic and answering the questions. One things for sure, few wakeboarders would survive if performing in front of the camera were their day job.
