There's a reason you've probably never heard of Megan Ethell; she's only 11 years old. Just because she can't drive legally, isn't even in middle school yet, and her Ronix Krush Wakeboard is almost as tall as she is, doesn't mean she can't rip on a wakeboard. Ethell is sponsored by Ronix Wakeboards and can be found regularly at OWC putting on a show and teaching the boys a thing or two. Just keep in mind that she has a few more years to grow up, which is only going to make her a better rider.

Congratulations Danny Harf, On Landing The First 1260 In History

Danny Harf, the wonder boy from team Ronix has added another industry first to his long list of accomplishments; this time becoming the first rider ever to land a 1260. Armed with a monster wake and his Ronix DHV1 Wakeboard, Harf added another 180 degrees of rotation, for a full 3 and half spins. In what was perhaps the best kept wakeboarding secret of all-time, Harf swore everyone that witnessed his historic move to secrecy to ensure no one would spill the beans before the Best of Wake Awards Ceremony this past weekend. The result of the successful ninja mission was a mind blowing unveiling that had more than a few riders (especially Rusty Malinoski, who believed he had the award cinched) visibly upset. Of course once the shock wore off, they were just as excited as Danny, showing how close the riders at the top are, even when pushing each other to land new moves. Congratulations Danny, enjoy being the first rider in history to land a 1260; although someone will inevitably land a 1340, no one can take that away from you! It's no secret that Rusty Malinoski's new Hyperlite MAREK pro-model is getting a lot of attention right now. It's definitely the most anticipated wakeboard of 2008, and with the world release coming up on May 15th, wakeboarders won't have long to wait until they can ride the MAREK themselves. Hyperlite released a video showcasing the construction process of Rusty's new pro-model, everything from designing the graphics to pressing boards is detailed, and backed up with an awesome soundtrack. Here's an entertaining video we found on YouTube that serves as a great reminder of how boring things would be if we didn't have wakeboarding. You have to admit, the guy has some skills to be able to throw down on a piece of a wood and a folding chair, but it's still lacking some of the appeal of putting your feet in the bindings and going for a ride. It's starting to warm up throughout the country, so hopefully people are getting out on the water. Have you started riding yet this year?

Liquid Force Films: Skate Session with Wakeskater Aaron Reed

Aaron Reed is a veteran member of the Liquid Force wakeskate team, and as such, he's been around the industry for quite some time. There's a reason why Aaron was one of the first wakeskaters with a pro-model, the guy kills it. And as this video from Liquid Force Films shows, it doesn't matter if he's on dry land or in the water, he's got skill when it comes to manipulating a board with his feet.

Fellow Liquid Force team member Shane Bonifay, ever the comedian, also graces the video with his presence. His multiple appearences add a Where's Waldo component to what would have otherwise been simply enjoyable skate action. We can definitely expect much more from Mr. Reed in the future, and based on how much fun he appears to be having in the video, what he does behind the boat should only get better. Professional Wakeboarder Dallas Friday Shows Off Her Crib

Dallas Friday has found success that few wakeboarders will experience. ESPN Espy award? Check. X-games Gold? Check. World Champion? Check. Masters Champion? Check. Pro Tour, Malibu Open, U.S. Open, Nationals, Vans Triple Crown? Check. So it should come as no surprise that Dallas has translated that success into some pretty nice digs. Thanks to a video that mimics MTV's Cribs, we can an inside look into what it's like to live in Dallas Friday's world. Check out the video after the break to see what an Espy award can do for you.

Episode One of CWB TV Playing Now

CWB recently released episode one of their new CWB TV Series featuring footage of Andrew Adkison's ride with the Blue Angels last year. There's nothing totally new to report in the video, but it is nice to see some video footage of the flight.

The word from CWB is that we should expect regular episodes from CWB TV featuring the latest happenings of the CWB pro team, so stay tuned for more updates.

Footage Released of Rusty Wakeboard Documentary Film

Few wakeboarders are as deserving of a feature documentary as Rusty Malinoski. From an undiscovered Canadian rider, to an up-and-comer struggling to get a ride with a major manufacturer, Rusty has remained focused and dedicated to his cause. Of course we all know the result of his determination; the run he's been on for the last 18 months has been nothing short of incredible. From his careful training regimine to his committed work ethic that has resulted in a string of 1080s and a new pro-model from Hyperlite, Rusty is a great reminder of what is possible with dedication. TheLiquidCircuis.com has what appears to be the first clip of a new documentary that seeks to showcase the hard work Rusty puts into every day as a professional wakeboarder. From the small sample of video, we can also see that the filmmakers have also chosen to include Rusty's group of close friends and fellow wakeboarders, including Danny Harf, in the movie. I think it's safe to say that Danny and Rusty are really pushing eachother right now, as evidenced by shared success when spinning three times. Hopefully the documentary will provide some insight into how they each benefit from a competitive friendship like theirs. Video Proof That Parks Bonifay Is Not Human

Parks Bonifay has shown more than once than when it comes to athleticism, coordination and down right skill, there are few people that can compete with him when it comes to riding sideways on something that is longer than it is wide. Parks has a long list of "firsts" in his career, including first documented 1080, first double backroll and some would argue first wakeboarder with rockstar status. And although he may be in the midst of redefining his career, this video shows exactly why it would be a mistake to count him out just yet.
