This week’s picture comes courtesy of wakeboarder1213, and features an unnamed and faceless rider silhouetted against an early morning sun and frozen in the midst of a fierce wake slash. I’m not sure why, but despite the fog rising off the water, this picture is a simple reminder of what it means to wakeboard in the summer.

The wakeboarding scene in Nebraska is going crazy. Don’t believe us? Okay, when was the last time your local group of riders rented a helicopter to get some shots of each other riding from the air?
